VOTING - TUESDAY, MAY 14

(new voter registrations will be accepted at the polls on May 14th; this is the last day to register if you want to vote at the business meeting on May 16th)

Voting for Hebron town officials and zoning amendments will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 11:00am to 7:00pm in the Community Hall (basement of the Hebron Church) located at 16 Church Lane in Hebron.

To obtain an absentee ballot for Tuesday, May 14 select this link and return the application to the Town Clerk’s office: Absentee Ballot

The Town Clerk will be available at the clerk's office on Monday, May 13 from 3:00 to 5:00pm to accept any new absentee ballot requests or for voters to return absentee ballots.

TOWN MEETING - THURSDAY, MAY 16

(no new voter registrations can be accepted at the business meeting on May 16th)

The business portion of town meeting will be held on Thursday, May 16 at the Public Safety Building (37 Groton Road) beginning at 6:00pm. When you arrive at the meeting, please check in with the Supervisors of the Checklist to obtain a yellow voter card and a Yes/No tear ballot in anticipation of any ballot voting requested.

The first article to be voted on at this year’s town meeting will be Article 4 to see if the Town of Hebron will adopt the provisions of House Bill 349 to withdraw from the Newfound Area School District/SAU #4 as of June 30, 2025, and to form a separate cooperative school district effective July 1, 2025. A majority vote is required on this article. More information about Hebron’s potential withdrawal from the Newfound Area School may be found by selecting the “HB349” link from the homepage menu. This link will bring you to the Steering Committee’s webpage which contains meeting minutes, documents explaining the withdrawal process, and the articles of incorporation for the potential new school district.  

Voters are asked to bring their town report with them to the meeting. Please have amendments in writing prepared ahead of time to submit to the Moderator.
